1. Who we are

This website is operated by AKForexTrader ("we", "us"). You can contact us through the contact page or at abhishekmaurya1947@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

If you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. Form submissions are collected by our hosting provider, Netlify, and delivered to us. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

If you post on the Feedback Wall or in Ask Me, the display name and message you type are published publicly on the website and stored in our database (Supabase). Please do not include personal or account details in them. You can ask us to remove a message through the contact page.

Information stored on your device

The learning workspace stores a few items in your own browser using local storage: lessons you saved, lessons you marked complete, e-book text size, your theme choice, whether the sidebar is collapsed, and a small timer that limits how often you can post. These stay on your device. We do not receive them.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider and the third-party services described below may automatically receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of the request. This is used for delivering the site, security, analytics and advertising.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use browser storage for the preferences described above. Third parties that provide advertising or embedded content may also place or read cookies, as explained below.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense, and may use other advertising partners, to show advertisements. Ads are shown only in a clearly labelled area of each page. The following describes how Google's advertising works:

5. Embedded content and third-party services

YouTube: lessons are played through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com). Playing a video may cause YouTube to receive information under its own privacy policy.
Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them.
Supabase: used to store published community content such as lessons and announcements, and the public messages posted on the Feedback Wall and in Ask Me. Administrators sign in through it.
Netlify: hosts the website and processes contact-form submissions.
Payment providers: payments are completed on external services such as PayPal or other channels shown at checkout. Their terms and privacy policies apply, and we do not receive your card details.
Social links: links to Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube lead to services with their own policies.

6. How we use information

To operate and improve the website and its content.
To respond to messages and membership or support requests.
To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
To show advertising through our partners.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers listed above, where required by law, or to protect our rights and users. These providers process information under their own terms.

8. Retention

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Data in your browser stays until you clear it.

9. Your choices and rights

Browser data: you can clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Ads: use the opt-out links in section 4, or your browser's controls.
Access, correction and deletion: depending on where you live (for example, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the GDPR), you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data. Contact us and we will respond in line with applicable law.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so that we can delete it.

11. Security

We use reputable hosting and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
